be a realist in life. it doesnt necessarily have to be a happy life. it doesnt have to be the ideal one. its doesnt have to be your dreams it doesnt have to be what you want it to be. its not what you need it to be. just have to be content with what you have. never expect more, than you would not be disappointed. if not disappointed you would not bitch about life. optimism is a vague description of stupidity. to change our reality we get high. but that doesnt help because the high doesnt last forever. but reality does. we run from anything that could hurt us. pray to God that we dont go through what others do. why are we so weak? we share our thoughts, we share our dreams, we share our insecurity, we share our pain, we live for one another, we give pride to ourselves thinking others need us. why do we kid ourselves?

Realist does not solely mean accepting life as it is. "Sharing and uncertainity" of every single thing provides an aura of weakness and conservatism. Very well described but prejudiced.
Realist is when u expect what u shud.. consider all possiblities... n deny none.. keep open to evry circumstance... its a state of complete open mindedness..

For me realists are people who base their actions and ideas on fact. They decipher things based on the observable practical consequences.
so maybe they might not accept all possibilities. they would deny any unless they are practical or a matter-of-fact.
I think caligula-x's version is also right just needs the words "If they are based on fact" where the 3 dots appear, right?
I am no philosopher hence don't wanna patent this as my own version. :-} just kidding
